Her birthplace was Roswell on the 29th of March 1985. Gerina Michelle Mendoza has been her name. Gerina Stevenson, who is the Mexican child of Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson, was birthed in Mexico. Her heritage is Mexican American however she has an American citizenship. Since the age of a child, she's had a keen desire to participate in athletics. Gerina began playing golf at the age of 15 years old. Gerina finished her high-school education at Goddard High School. She was the winner of New Mexico's state golf tournament. In addition, she was a volleyball player at the national level. The year 2003 was the time she enrolled at the University of Texas. She took home all the competitions she participated in during her final years. While in her undergrad years, she was awarded as the conference's best player of season and UTEP's Female Athletic Champion of the Year.
